Metro Institute’s online testing technologies (iCBT) have always provided examinations via secure Internet delivery, but historically employ a traditional testing center with an in-person proctor to prevent cheating or related exam compromise. In some cases Metro Clients have requested a Remote Testing option.
Metro Institute has responded by deploying its time-tested iCBT testing system with state-of-the-art online remote
proctoring technology that substitutes for a traditional testing center’s proctor.
How Does It Work?
Metro Institute’s remote proctoring solution employs both an artificial intelligence (AI) technology in combination with a live online proctor (who is observing the test taker at all times).
Metro maintains a one to one candidate to proctor ratio. Metro Proctors have the technical ability to terminate an exam session at any time if any fraudulent activity is detected during an exam. While it is important to prevent cheating perhaps even more crucial is the desire to prevent exam theft. Your intellectual property is expensive to reproduce in terms of time , resources and money. Metro will not just provide a video of the testing incidents after the fact Metro will actively stake steps to stop it in real time.
The Metro Remote Testing options integrates completely with our iCBT in person testing system. Candidate user data, user management, exam results, exam management and the full suite of reports offered by Metro are mange from the same Agency Administration portal.
Currently our agency partners taking advantage of the Remote Testing Option are doing so in unison with Metro's in person live brick and mortar testing. Providing options for candidates to select the most convenient method for their needs is a great benefit your agency can offer. Additionally, if history has taught us anything there may be times when in person testing is not available. Should this happen your certification testing program may continue uninterrupted.
